Definition of a cookie
A cookie, often called a login token, is a static data file deposited by the site server on your device's hard drive (computer, mobile or tablet). This file acts as temporary memory: it allows the site to recognise your device during successive visits, without revealing your personal identity. The data is stored in a pseudonymised form.
These files collect various technical information (device type, connection date, pages viewed) and pose no security risk to your equipment. They are strictly confidential: only the cookie's issuer has the key to read or modify the information it contains.
Role and functions of cookies
The primary aim is to optimise your browsing experience. In practical terms, these files are used to:
- analyse traffic and technical performance,
- ensure smooth navigation without unnecessary reloading,
- remember your preferences (language, currency, consent),
- and generally, provide a customised user interface.
Secondly, they enable the display of more relevant promotional content, aligned with your browsing habits.
You retain complete control over these tools: your browser allows you at any time to accept, filter or block them entirely.
Control and deactivation
You are free to adjust your consent via the settings panel that appears when you arrive, or any time by accessing our preferences management module at the bottom of the page.
Alternatively, you can modify your browser settings to systematically reject all cookies. Be aware, disabling cookies entirely may make some areas of the site inaccessible.
In case of refusal or cookie clearance, we cannot guarantee an optimal experience. Disruptions may occur if we are unable to identify:
- your browser compatibility,
- your display preferences (resolution, language),
- or your geographical location (for postage costs),
which could lead to technical errors.
The publisher cannot be held responsible for malfunctioning of the site caused by:
(i) your opposition to cookie installation; or
(ii) the technical impossibility of accessing the tracers necessary for the service to operate.
The deactivation procedure varies depending on the software used (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). We recommend consulting your browser’s online help. Note that if you change your computer or phone, your choices must be renewed on each device.
When you click on the social buttons (Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube) or external links, you leave our scope of responsibility. The management of tracers then depends solely on the privacy policies of these third-party platforms.
Lifecycle of tracers
In accordance with regulations, the lifespan of our cookies does not exceed 13 months. After this period, your consent will be requested again via our cookie banner.
Inventory of deployed cookies
Essential technical cookies
These are the foundation of the site. Without them, proper navigation is impossible. They ensure:
- maintaining your login to your account,
- protection against malicious requests,
- preserving items in your shopping cart,
- encrypting payment data.
These technical elements are used solely for operational purposes and do not track your private life.
Audience measurement cookies
These statistical tools help us understand your behaviour to improve the site. They count:
- overall traffic volume,
- the most popular sections,
- acquisition channels (search engines, social networks).
These aggregated data guide us to evolve our offers and fix navigation issues.
Marketing and targeting cookies
These files allow us to offer you adverts tailored to your profile, on this or other websites. They are used to:
- prevent over-repetition of the same ads,
- target users interested in our new products,
- remind you of viewed but unpurchased items,
- and synchronise these data with our partner ad networks (Google, Meta, TikTok) via third-party tracers.
Comfort and personalisation cookies
They are there to "remember you". They record your specific settings to:
- recognise you on a new visit,
- memorise your interface choices,
- and dynamically adapt the displayed content based on your history.
